Brian McFadden Not To Return To Westlife Contrary to recent reports, Brian McFadden did not contact his former band mates and request to rejoin the Irish group Westlife.
McFadden said today;
“I never have and never will ask Westlife to rejoin them. My reasons for leaving Westlife still remain as strong today as when I left. I wish them the best but it’s not for me and I’ve happily moved on”.
Brian is currently in Australia following his exclusive album deal with the newly launched Island Records, an arm of the music label, Universal Music Australia, who will be releasing his second solo record ‘Set In Stone’ on April 19th. Last night McFadden made his TV performance debut of his new single ‘Like Only A Woman Can’ on the seven network top rating show “It Takes Two”.
‘Like Only A Woman Can’ was the 5th most added track on Australian radio last week and is set to release on March 22.
‘Set In Stone’ is the follow up release to McFadden’s 2004 solo album ‘Irish Son’, which secured #1 album position in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Demark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Holland and Belgium. ‘Irish Son’ heralded three UK top ten hits including the lead track and #1 single ‘Real To Me’ and the hit duet ‘Almost Here’.
