BRIAN JOINS BOYZ..;
EXCLUSIVE DON'T WORRY, NOT AS A SINGER, BUT AS SUPPORT ACT ON THEIR NEW TOUR
HE made his millions in Westlife and now Brian McFadden wants to make it with Boyzone.
But the Dubliner isn't plotting to take Ronan Keating's place in the band. Instead, he will be resurrecting his career after landing a deal to support Boyzone on their reunion tour.
It's a massive boost for the star whose solo career bombed after just two singles.
Now, three years on, Louis Walsh has offered him a lifeline and he will appear at every gig on Boyzone's 30-date comeback tour.
A source said: "Brian is thrilled to get the invite to support Boyzone - it's just what he needed. He's a great musician but he's struggled to get his music out there in recent years.
"This means he can get back to what he's best at - performing.
"Louis got in touch with him last week and said he wanted him to do the Boyzone tour.
"It will be a blast from the past for Brian back on the road doing a boyband tour.
"He will start rehearsals early next year and he can't wait."
Boyzone will make their comeback when they perform on BBC1's Children In Need on Friday night.
Although the band are publicly claiming they've no plans to get back together permanently, insiders say a tour and new album are already in the planning stages.
They are planning huge shows in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, London and Glasgow as part of the comeback. Brian has spent most of the past two years writing songs for other acts in his London studio.
But he will use the Boyzone tour to launch his own comeback and follow it up with an album. Brian's pal added: "He'll be performing to over 200,000 people on that tour so it's a great chance to publicise himself."
