3AM: Take That, Westlife! By Eva Simpson; Caroline Hedley TAKE That fans' Patience has truly paid off. We had the exclusive first listen of the band's first new single in more than 10 years - and our verdict? It's been well worth the wait. The track, Patience, - aired on all radio stations at 8.15 this morning - is as brilliant as we'd hoped. From the opening lines "Just have a little patience/I'm still hurting from a love I lost", Gary Barlow's vocals remind us just what the charts have been missing for the past decade. Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald add their harmonies to the chorus "My heart is numb, has no feeling/'Cos I am still healing/ Have a little patience" and from then on the track is seared into the memory. The simple but poignant lyrics were co-written by the boys who made sharing songwriting credits - and cash - a condition of their re-forming. The release date for the as-yet untitled album will be announced on radio today - and if the rest is as good as this the boys' boring boyband "rivals" should be very scared indeed. Westlife, you have been warned... Source: www.redorbit.com---- what do you think?

I don't think Westlife has to worry. Westlife has its own fan base (I'm sure Take That has too) but Westlife has already proven their worth and longevity so they should not be taking that (pun not intended) as a threat to their musical capability. Besides, call me biased, but the Westlife lads are way waaaay goodlooking than the Take That boys. Hahaha! Sorry but that's what I think.

And Westlife won't need to worry when it comes to the charts since the single release of Take That's single & alb is completely different from Westlife's release dates And besides, even though I did like Take That (well, two songs, anyway) when I was younger (god, I saw their last video with Robbie in it before, how cheesy), I'm still a die-hard Westlife fan
