I still use the postal service (snail mail) myself, esp for sending greeting cards for birthdays, Christmas, Easter and Valentines. I still enjoy reading cards and letters sent through the mail too. Nothing beats the excitement of opening an envelope (after examining the fine artwork on the stamp), pulling out a dainty card and reading the wonderful and heart-warming messages intended for you from friends and loved ones!
I guess this kind of communication is as classic as Westlife themselves!
Here are two articles on the ads. Can anyone check if the ad is available somewhere, probably YouTube?

Loife going in for mail bonding

WESTLIFE have given a first-class performance in their debut telly commercial.
The cheesy crooners are starring in a new ad campaign to plug the Post Office.
KIAN EGAN, SHANE FILAN, NICKY BYRNE and MARK FEEHILY liven up a postmaster’s day by popping in — probably to send a parcel to their mams in Ireland. I’m surprised they didn’t get mobbed by their legions of fans there to pick up their pensions.
The lads certainly played their roles to the letter.
You would think Westlife had a new album to promote . . . oh, they have.
The band have a new single and album out in time for Christmas. Can’t wait.
BTW the pic in this article is really cute!

LONDON - The Post Office is ditching its long-running 'ants' campaign in favour of a celebrity-based drive starring Joan Collins and Westlife.
The ads, which are the first work from the Post Office's new agency Mother, will form part of a multimillion-pound campaign designed to promote the role of the Post Office...
