WESTLIFE, JUSTIN BIEBER & A HOST OF STARS SUPPORT CHRISTMAS APPEAL AT GREAT ORMOND STREET
THERE were smiles and laughter all round as the children of Great Ormond Street Hospital were treated to a Christmas party like no other.
Celebs including Westlife, Justin Bieber, Cheryl Cole. The Wanted, Ellie Goulding, Ricky Whittle, Tamzin Outhwaite, Michelle Williams and X Factor 2010 star Paige Richardson came out to support the hospital’s annual bash and helped lift the spirits of some of the country’s most poorly children.
More than 175,000 children visit the London hospital every year from all over the UK and, sadly, many will be opening their presents there.
But staff, parents and celebs are rallying round to make sure they are treated to a Christmas they will never forget.
Top boyband The Wanted met and danced with children and were mobbed by excited young fans.
Singer Max George, 22, told us: “It warms your heart to see these children laughing.
“Most have life- threatening illnesses and have been so brave in hospital.
“It’s nice that they can dance and be treated to a day of fun and just remind them that are kids afterall. The day has been such a success.”
As part of our Christmas Appeal, your Daily Star is raising money for children like these and to provide vital funds the hospital needs.
So please dig deep and donate this Christmas. We were there to catch a glimpse of the action and here’s our stars of 2010.
Merry Christmas!
