SIMPLY THE WEST; WESTLIFE JOY AS THEY WOW 80,000 FANS
Byline: PAUL MARTIN
WESTLIFE celebrated their finest hour on Saturday night - thrilling 80,000 fans at Croke Park.
The boyband proved they're still the biggest act in pop with a memorable night for their fans.
Behind the scenes the stars were in great form as they partied with an all-star line-up of guests and their families.
As the boys dazzled with a two-hour performance, stars including Louis Walsh, Jedward and JLS partied.
After their show jubilant Shane Filan said: "That was just the most amazing feeling in the world. We could never have expected a reaction like that.
"We all got emotional on stage just looking out at so many fans and also with all our families up in the stands.
"We have made a vow to come back to Croker again - it was an experience we'll not forget."
Kian Egan, whose father, like Nicky Byrne's, died recently, added: "We wanted to do it for our dads and for our families."
