from www.westlife.grLife Is Plane Crazy - 29 November 2006 Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley WHEN your album has just shot to the top of the charts, things should be plane sailing. But Westlife hit a little turbulence last Sunday. They were about to take off from Sydney when the plane's hydraulics packed up. All the passengers on the Qantas flight - the last UK-bound one that day - were ordered off the plane and asked to come back on Monday. We hear: "The lads were told that cars would take everyone to hotels but none turned up. They had to track down someone from their record company to book a car - which arrived over two hours later. "Because of the time difference they hadn't even been able to find out where their album had charted. So they rang their manager Louis Walsh and woke him up." He broke the good news that Westlife were No.1, but by then the lads were so exhausted they just went to bed - without even a celebratory thingytail. Not exactly the Life and soul of the party, eh lads? Credit/Source: www.mirror.co.uk
