Devoted fans queue three nights for gig tickets 10 Dec 2009 By Richard Blackledge TICKETS for Irish pop band Westlife's much-anticipated return to Sheffield went on sale this morning - and these hardy souls had been queuing since Monday to get their hands on them! Superfan Leanne Knowles, from Owlthorpe, Sheffield, and her friends Chelsea Beresford from Attercliffe, Sheffield, and Susan Robson and Emma Pogson from Bawtry, Doncaster, set up camp outside Sheffield Arena at around 7pm on Monday, ready for the box office to open at 9am today. Armed with tents, inflatable beds, and other outdoor gear, the loyal followers braved freezing temperatures - all to get tickets to see their idols. Westlife are appearing at the Attercliffe venue on May 12 next year. Leanne, aged 22, said "It's been absolutely freezing, but I'm just thinking about the Westlife tickets. I can't wait for the concert, two years ago I camped out for nearly two weeks!" Leanne also showed off her customised Westlife Vauxhall Corsa, which her mum, Maxine, had specially made for her last year. Credit/Source: www.thestar.co.uk

Lol. But given the situation/ context, I think in the Philippines, as Westlife fans - any fans for that matter - go, we're pretty die hard. ;D
