Nicky's '09 vow to wow WESTLIFE star Nicky Byrne has promised fans the group will storm back into the 2009 charts with a "huge new album".
The chart-topping singer and his bandmates have been on a year-long break from the limelight but he said they will be back and better than ever next year.
Nicky, 30, revealed: "We've got big plans for 2009. We're on a break until June and then we're back in the studio to do a huge new album.
"We're going to the US to work with some great producers. We're all really excited.
"There were some really big names thrown about so we can't wait to start on that." And he told how Westlife were in a world of their own at last June's sell-out gig in Croke Park.
He said: "We were lucky enough to play our 10-year anniversary concert there last summer.
"It think I could say that it was the highlight of all our careers."
