Its sad they've come to be associated with a genre that's passe. All the while I thought they couldn't break into the U.S. coz the recording companies there were protecting American boy bands!

i do understand it.. the same thing is happening to the philippines.. admitting that you like westlife, or a boyband for that matter, is like admitting that you liked 50's music.. people nowadays seem to think that boybands were a thing of the past and wouldn't listen to them.. which I don't find fair because as long as a group produces good music and has valor and passion doing it, i think they should be credited for doing that, at least

haha..i thought the Irish lads could'nt break into the US because obviously, everybody knows that WESTLIFE is the best(and still remains the best)..and they're afraid that our dear husbands would become much better than their american boybands!!

people would rather hear music from artists who wear reindeer horns and latex outfits, or ghetto peeps whose vocabulary consists only of the F and B words, than awesomesauce music from a "boyband".
u.s. radio stations are filled with music snobs and hypocrites. pop shcmultz my foot!
