haha lol.
um, i guess it's better to stick to the book- that's my opinion based entirely.
it goes the same for harry potter and lotr. if you haven't read the book, good. watch the movie first and then get yourself hooked to the book.
because in the book it's based on a monthly time factor, while for the movie it's like, seasonal? can't really tell. btw i really wanted jennifer garner to play Holly rather than Hillary Swank- she's too strong a character & presence for the movie. Garner would play it much more beautifully. She's more Holly-ish than Swank.
totally my opinion LOL.

The movie is trash.
They ruined the book. I mean, really, the IRISH TOUCH IS GONE. Holly is IRISH and is american in the movie. She has brothers in the book, she only had a sister in the movie. She also has a dad in the book, and guess what, he's gone in the movie too.
I mean, I know they're supposed to edit, but, d**n, the book itself is GREAT, no need to MAJOR editing... d**n.
The movei's trash if you compatre it to the book, but if ye dun, then it's a bit fine, but it's completely my opinion. I just hate the fact that Cecelia's IRISH TOUCH is gone in the movie. I hate to spol, but it's what in the movie.
AND, Cecelia's fifth book is out now... 'Thanks for the memories' it's a very beautiful book, indeed. Another book from her will be released in October, I think... titled 'The gift'
d**n, I still need 'A place called here' I only got the first three books... rawr!

i've TRIED to see the movie but sorry i couldn't bare it.. i haven't read the book so i can't comment on that but i'm quite sure it's a lot better than the movie! i was looking forward to feeling the Irish vibe in it but there was nothing! really disappointing!

lol, oooh i finished reading 'thanks for the memories' weeks ago, and it's GREAT! unusual (due to the blood thingy) but it's nice! I actually cried when i was in the last few pages... i recommend this book! it's funny and romantic and fantastic! cecelia really can bring magic to her books wonderful, indeed! it's a possible movie aswell, without editing, it'd be fab! I mean, she already made the guy american, they should stick to the girl being irish, if not than it'd be a bummer! but it's still nice

She wrote 'Samantha Who"! OMG, I love that series! But I can't watch it now that I'm abroad *sigh* I bought P.S. I Love You (book) 3 weeks ago (finally). It was great! I love the story. It was touching and funny. I cried while reading the part where gerry wrote the letter. And I screamed (thankfully nobody was around) when I saw 'Westlife' written in there ;D.
